How to apply listening skills to maximise comprehension and empathy.

• Be curious. Go in with the mindset that you want to discover something new.
• Pay attention to the details and non verbal messages. Body language, voice tone, pace etc.
• Notice any distractions. If your mind starts wandering or you start to feel bored, reset and refocus.
