How to ensure every person is connected with and accepted by a group.

• To create a sense of real belonging requires each person to connect to a shared goal or purpose.
• Leaders need to address any process or behaviour that excludes any person. Focus on the system being fair.
• Keep revisiting the topic of belonging. It's not set and forget. The environment must feel safe for everyone.
