  • Start noticing. Pay attention to what you're thinking or feeling. Just observe with no interpretation.
  • Let thoughts and feelings pass. It's not about 'squashing' them, it's about noticing and then letting them go.
  • Practise on the simplest of things. Focus on eating something tasty, smelling a flower, listening to a song. If your mind wanders, refocus on the task at hand.
